Need Your Help!!!

Ok. I am booked for most of my stay at the Wilderness Lodge. When I booked my ressie, the first 2 days were sold out at the WL and had to do those at the Caribbean Beach. I called to check to see if any availability had opened up and she told me that there was availability on the first day, but not as of yet on the second. The thought of checking in, then out & transferring to the CBR, then turning around the next day and heading right back to the WL seemed like alot. She said I would have to pay another deposit today to book the one day at the WL and would only have until 5 days prior to cancel. She also said there was no guarantee that the 2nd day would open up.

What would you do??? Would you have 3 reservations at 2 resorts? Would you go to one for one night, check out and into another resort the next night, then turnaround and go back to the first resort for the rest of your stay? Should I do that? Should I just keep what I have and keep trying for both days?

In my opinion, in boils down to how much of your vacation you want to use worrying about your hotel room. Although we all like certain hotels and it adds to the enjoyment of our vacations, we are really there for the theme parks, etc. I think I'd stick with CB and only do the checkout/checkin thing once. Just my opinion.

To me it seems like a lot of work to check in at CBR check out then check in at WL check out go back to CBR and then WL the next day. If it were me I would stay at the CBR for the first two days. Just keep on trying for the WL for those first 2 days. What about the VWL is there anything available there? Then at least you would right near by.

I would

a) keep present ressie for CBR & WL
b) make ressie at WL for first night with deposit
c) Keep trying to pick-up second night, wait until 5 days then if second night still isn't avl have them transfer the new one-night room charge to org WL ressie (one more day paid for)
This way you are closer to org request for all days at WL.

I think I'm just going to keep what I have and just keep trying to get those other two days. I just called and they had no availability again at the WL for either day.

To check in, then out & into another, then out again and back to the first one, just seems like a waste of time and money.
