I would like everyones help on if we can easily do a custom wedding for around 25 guests including me and my DF for the $10000 min that is required?
 
If you use Disney for all of your services then I think it would be easy to reach that minimum. If you had planned on using outside vendors for everything like photography and floral then it will be more difficult to reach. I am sure that you wouldn't have difficulty reaching it... 10K goes quickly especially if you add the coach or characters! I think it is harder to stay at the 10K min than actually reaching it!
 
We are having a custom wedding for about 21 people. We are EASILY meeting the min requirement and that's without their photography and videography (we are using Randy and Stan). BUT...we are going to have 2 characters, cinderella's coach, & a dessert party at illuminations. I guess it really depends on what you want to include on your day...
 

yes I want randy and stan and want a dessert party but I dont really want anything too fancy with regards to floral because flowers die and we cant really fly them back to the uk!

Princess110607- if you dont mind me asking how much is yours coming in and where are you holding it?
 
We are having our ceremony at the Wedding Pavilion, the reception at the Grand Floridian White Hall Room, and the dessert party at Morroco Terrace.

I don't have my budget spreadsheet with me right now but I will get back to you later today or tomorrow with a round about estimate. I'm pretty sure...not including photography or videography...it's coming somewhere btwn 10000 and 12000. I made my own flowers so that's not included in there. And I don't plan to have a lot of floral decorations. Our big costs are the coach, characters, and the reception entertainment (i think we are planning to use a guitarist and a harp?...can't remember).

I haven't gotten a BEO or anything yet...and we all know those fees and such they charge :)
 
Oh I'm pleased we should be able to do it for around $10k, we are having ahuge at home reception so i dont want to have a massive affair with just the 25 of us and noone else can share it with us
 
Keep in mind that the minimum expenditure of $10,000 is plus the Tax and gratuities so it will never be exactly $10,000.:teacher:
 
forgive me for sounding silly but I'm in the uk so dont really know much about your tax and gratuities! so how much would that be on $10000?

I'm having a custom wedding for 21 people, no characters, no coach and we are using Randy and Stan.

We are in the WP for the ceremony, then Cali Grill Napa Room for lunch reception, then Dessert Party at UK Lower Terrace.

I've just paid up for it this week and it was 12,011 dollars, including tax and all the other bits.

We had no problem at all getting to the minimum - it was if anything harder to make sure we didn't get totally carried away and go bananas :banana:

As a UK bride it is important to understand how the taxes and gratuities work - totally different than over here!

did you upgrade alot to get to your min with the small amount of guests?
