Need wedding shower ideas for teacher...

I'm counting on my fellow brilliant DISer's to help me come up with some ideas for a wedding shower for DD's kindergarten teacher.....

DD's teacher is getting married in late September, and we're planning a surprise wedding shower to be thrown by the kids/parents. I've purchased card stock paper for each student so they can draw a picture and write (or have their parents) write the kid's response to questions like "what happens when you get married?" "what is it like to be married?" etc. We'll have the sheets bound and present it to the teacher. The parents are also donating funds to purchase one of the bigger items that the teacher did not receive at her earlier shower.

What else should we do to make this a fun and memorable occasion for our fabulous teacher?

What a really nice thing to do. I was going to suggest you have each child write what love means to him/her but you already have that covered. How about having each child make a tissue paper flower and make them into a bouquet for the teacher.

I'm not sure how many of the kids have gone to weddings before and if they are being invited to their teachers wedding, but you could put on a wedding skit. Have a boy and girl dress up as the bride and groom and have them say a couple of cute saying. You could have some girls be the flower girls and a boy be the ring bear. Then when the ceremony is done, you can have the kids present a gift to the teacher.
If the kids are able to sing or hum out the here comes the bride all dressed in white dum dum...then that would be cute and a way to get all the kids involved if they are not in the wedding party themselves.
