Hi all,
Hoping some folks on here can help me out.
This Monday, a group of adult sisters (40-55 age group) is leaving for PCB Fl for a few days to get away.
Need some help with what activities there are in the nearby vicinity (less than an hour away).
I know there are dolphin swims and boating excursions, parasailing, and stuff like that.
I am more wondering if there are things like ziplining, canoeing/kayaking, segways, and those sorts of activities. I guess maybe I am looking at non-beach/ocean related things to do.

I have only found things way over in the Pensacola area, but that is too far to drive since it is only a 4-day trip. The drive between Ohio and PCB will be 15 hours, so more driving is not going to be an option!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
TIA!!! :)

I don't think there are alot of those options in PCB, we always go to the Destin/Sandestin area, in fact, we were over there last weekend. There are quite a bit of things to do over there, including the outlet mall. I think it takes less than 30 minutes to drive there from PCB, though. Over the next week or so, it is going to be too cool to swim, it was nice last weekend (but the water was still a little cool), but the weather has gotten even cooler over the last few days.

PCB is for the teens/college age kids, so we don't go over that way.

My mom, aunt, grandmother, and I go to PCB every year at the beginning of May. It's the best!
Last year we went on a dolphin and sunset cruise aboard the Sea Screamer. Captain Andy and his crew really knew alot about the area. You might try calling them and asking if they know of places to canoe/kayak. They've lived there for years and are really sweet people!

There is Ripley's museum, Imagarium, putt golf, St Andrew's Bay State Park, and the clubs if you are into that.

I just got back from a girl's trip to PCB. We are all in our mid forties. We were there Thursday through Sunday. We went to the wineries (we preferred the wines at Sea Breeze and loved the slushies). That doesn't take very long because they are just shops, not tours.

We did the Blue Dolphin cruise - enjoyed it very much but I was a little disappointed as I thought we would get to walk on Shell Island and we just snorkeled in front of it. We did see dolphins and found lots of sand dollars. We saw the Sea Screamer too and our guide told us that they have "ways" of making the dolphins come close to their boat.

We spent a full day on the beach drinking the wine slushies we made with our wine from Sea Breeze.

We spent the afternoon shopping at Pier Park and had dinner there.

It's off season right now so a lot of the Putt Putt places are closed. Another plus is that we really enjoyed the peace and quiet on the beaches because there weren't a bunch of wild kids around.

Some of the restaurants we went to and enjoyed were Schooner's, Pineapple Willy's, Sharkey's (great evening entertainment) and Another Broken Egg for breakfast.

I kind of wanted to visit the wolf refuge but was vetoed. Also there is a marine park there that looked like it was small but nice. We didn't go because we have been to Sea World.

Thanks for the posts everyone! I appreciate the help.
I will put these ideas on the table for our group and see what interest we get.
Many of these ideas sound like fun, and I am sure the group will enjoy most any of them!!
Thanks again!
