Need upgrade to AP advice

Planning ....
Let assume AP rate comes out...
Assume:
I have a value ressie for 5 nights with free ticket upgrade of hopper and water.
AND I make a ressie (split stay) for AP for the next 4 nights at a deluxe.
Would I be able to... on the last day of my value ressie upgrade to an AP?
Then when I go to the deluxe resort use the AP pass for that ressie?

If I can do this, would you do it or is it too risky?

If your MYW ticket had the water park options (and you used at least one of them) then you must upgrade to a Premium AP. You would no longer qualify for a regular AP. As far as using the AP for a room discount I don't know.

That should work as far as using it to check in at the Deluxe. As long as you have a valid AP in hand, I don't think they care when you bought it.

aubriee is right, though. You'd have to upgrade to a premium AP if you'd used any of the WP&M options - and if you hadn't used them, you could upgrade to a regular AP, but you'd lose the WP&M options. Your AP would also "start" on the first day you used the original tickets, so there's no real need to wait unti the last day at the Value to upgrade.
