Need to vent!

Not really Disney related per say. Why is it that everything that could go wrong, goes wrong?

I'm at work and all day have been trying to finish up any last minute things before leaving today. Our Disney trip is tomorrow morning starting at 10 am ! I was hoping for a smooth day, but no such luck.

I get hit at 12:30 today with a major postage issue that would effect both me and my back up person (I'm a receptionist) . After meeting with our boss at 2:45, I'm scrambling to make sure I get this taken care of before I go home at 5. I go talk to the admin for one department so that I can get their mail person trained on the postage meter (long story). Come to find out, they won't need to add their mailings to ours until January! Well that is a relief! I go and tell my back up person and she is also relieved. But we are both that upper management left out one small little detail....the department in question can use their postage meter until the end of December! They made it sound like it was needed TODAY and created unnecessary panic within the office! (can you tell i'm furious? )

Disney take me away!!!!

I understand the frustration when others make something urgent when it's not, totally not understanding how they have destroyed the plan for your day. Glad you got the issue sorted out.

I understand how that feels- I've had that happen on almost every vacation I've ever taken. But, you are now going to Disney and no stress! Well, unless you put it on yourself! Go, have fun, and RELAX!

Thanks everyone I was telling myself, "I'm going to Disney" as well as "Disney, take me away" (you know the old Calgon commercials). Thankfully work is over and I'm am officialy on vacation (as far as work goes).

Now to finish packing 14 hours left until Disney Magic!
