Need to sell BWV 1 BR for Easter - Rent board or ebay?

Hi! We are in a pickle with medical expenses and I will probably need to sell our week at BWV for the week of Easter - March 27 - April 1. What is everyone's opinion - sell on rent/trade board or ebay?

Any advice would be appreciated.

In the past, I've always released the resservation to allow a fellow DVC member on the waitlist (or next to call for like ressie) to get the spot. Then rented/transfered the points to the best rentor to satisfy their wants.

Assuming you need the money, I'd use the Rent/Trade board over ebay, even though you may get less $/point than if you chose ebay.

You will not need to pay any fees to the DIS, and the chances of finding a renter who is at least somewhat familar with the way DVC works are much greater. If you can find another member who would like the points transferred to his/her account, the process will be quick and relatively easier (than renting the reservation and dealing with a non-member).

I would reccomend E Bay you will likeley end up getting much more for the ressie than the rent trade board from what I have seen between the 2 places.
