Need to make some money?

I'm trying to plan the vacation of a lifetime as a surprise to my boyfriend. The thing is, I only make about 200 bucks a week.

Please, please help.
I want to make his DIS dreams come true.

Hi! There are several things you could do, pick up a second job? Waitressing? Newspaper route? Anything like that can bring in some quick cash. Selling anything you have and don't need, Ebay, craigslist, etsy, etc. is a quick way to make some cash, also a yard/garage sale. Hope these ideas help!! And best of luck planning.

Well the only two surefire ways I know of creating more money is to earn more and spend less!
I've been cleaning out my closets and have cleared about $200 this month on ebay. Also been watching the little things that dribble money, eating out, extra stuff at Target, etc.
Do you know how much your trip will cost?
When I have a financial goal, it helps me to break it down. Like if you're planning a trip in six months and you need $2400 what do you need to do for the extra $100 a week. More manageable in my mind than a big chunk of money looming over your head!

One helpful thing - to me anyway - is that you can put your vacation on "layaway". When you book a package, all that is required is a $200 deposit. The final payment has to be made at 45 day out. $25 - $100payments can add up quickly.

We have the cash to pay for our vacation in full, but instead of doing that, I put the $$ into our savings accout, and have been paying any extra money we have (at the end of a pay period) towards our trip. I have already paid $1000 of our trip off - which means more moeny in our savings account in case of an emergency.

If you do a budget vacation, then you don't have to save nearly as much.
