The closer it gets to my trip the fuzzier my head is getting so i do apologize for my next question because I know I asked it before but I can't find it again.:rolleyes1

Okay, I know the hair wraps are $2.00 an inch and I think they will put in beads if you bring them yourself.

What I need to know is what exactly is the hair wrap process and what is the cost per inch for hair braids?

TIA

oh gee my niece got her hair braids one time - I think it cost me $65.00 - but her hair was not quite shoulder length.

you have to go to one of the beauty salon for this.

the beads you can get at most of the swimming pools at WDW - if you aren't staying at a WDW resort - you can ask at yours.

They have beads there too. My daughter gets a hairwrap every time we go to Disney. We get it at Downtown Disney and the 4 color wrap, beads, and tip are around $25. Her hair is just below her shoulder.

Thank you for the replys. when we went to florida 2 years ago we had the braids done at universal and my daughters' hair was shoulder length and the cost was around $100.00. This time her hair is about half way down her back so I am hoping that she won't do the whole head because that might get as high as $150.00 or more.

thanks again,

What are hair wraps? Sounds like fun! What kind of beads do you need? Where can you get it done?

:confused3

To make a hair wrap, they take a very small bundle of hair (from the top of your head, usually around an ear) and they tie some colored string to it at the scalp. Then they wrap it alternating colors if you want and tie it off at the bottom. For a few dollars extra, they will attach beads to the bottom. You get to choose the colors and the beads. My daughter's hair is a few inches below her shoulder and a wrap with beads for her is under $30. It takes 5-10 minutes to do and they last a few weeks after you get home. They are so cute! You can get them done at DTD and around the resort pools.

What kind of braids are you getting? Are they the little tiny ones where you end up with about a hundred braids when you are done? Where do you get them and how long does it take?

How short is too short for a wrap? I'd love to let my daughter get her's done. She JUST got her haircut, and it's a little short. Think they can do it?

Her hair definitely looks long enough to be wrapped. My daughter and I always have ours done when we go. Unfortunately the last time it only lasted about three weeks. Not sure why, previously it lasted for months. It's a fun souvenir! :thumbsup2

Aww, Thanks! She looks like her Momma! :rotfl2:

Where are you in CT? I'm from Groton, but I live in PA now.

We're in Litchfield County way up in the Northwest corner. Snowiest and coldest usually!::yes::

There is also an option to buy the wrap on a clip. We did this for me and my dd. This way, (since I am cheap) you can wear it every time you go to disney!;)

Once ours fall out there is a little loop of thread and my DD has about five of them that she has put on clips to wear again. :thumbsup2
