Need to go on a very SLOW day!

Hi everyone!

Been awhile since I've been on here, but anyway...

My FI and I are going to take our engagement photos at Disneyland, and wanted to know which days would be the best to go.

We would have to go between March and May, and on a Monday or Tuesday.

If you all can fill me in on certain Spring Break schedules, and specific holidays I wouldn't know about, that will be great so I know when to avoid the parks!

Early March (first 2 weeks) or early May (first week,maybe two) would probably both be ok. I would avoid the last couple weeks of March and all of April. The end of May could be busy with Pirates stuff going on.

Any Tue, Wed or Thur in Sep (starting second week) through February and May excluding any weeks that have a school holiday such as President's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, etc. etc.

If I had my choice, I'd go in September or May as the weather will be best then (nice and warm but typically not too hot.)

Spring breaks vary from school to school. It can occur anytime between the second week of March and the end of April. The current ticket specials also end the final week of April. Many will try to fit in a vacation prior to the end of the specials. The weather in early March is less predictable and since you want to take pictures, May would be the best.

Spring break varies so much that the parks are generally crowded with spring breakers from mid March up until early May.

What about Mothers day week? Sunday the 13th, 14 and 15?? Thats still early enough for less crowds. I hope?? Maybe the last week before schools start to get out??

Typically Mothers day is one of the busier weekends in May. That and Memorial weekend. Holidays tend to bring people the the park. The DL hotel offers a mom's day buffet. This year it's hard to say what that weekend will be like. There are rumors of a pirates premier party and no one knows when it will be or what they'll be offering.
