Need to find a nanny in the Chicago suburbs.

Anyone have any advice on where to start looking? We're in the western Chicago suburbs. Long story short, next April, my parents retiring, will need to find a nanny by then and figured I should get a head start, and begin looking now. Can anyone tell me of any websites, or organizations to contact to find someone? Thanks!

You're really not getting that much of a head start as you may think. A woman I work with just went through this process and it takes a couple months to find the right fit with your family. THere are interview process, trial process background checks (on both ends). She lives on the North Shore; can't think of the agency she used - I'll find out.
