My daughter want to use my points during spring break in March, So has commits from 2 out of 4 people going on the trip. So if I book now for a trip in March borrowing from 2021 use year what risk is there if I cancel before the 30 day mark? Want to make sure it looks to be none based on how I read it but would like some validation please.
Side note
I plan on buying DVC APs this year and will activate during my trip in Aug. Question is if I give my daughter her pass to activate in March and I'm not there will there be an issue activating? I don't recall needing to show DVC card at member services when getting the pass active
TIA

Any borrowed 2021 Uy points, if you cancel 31 days or more, will be returned to your account as borrowed points and will need to be used up by the end of your 2020 UY. Borrowing is a final transaction and can not be reversed

So, depending on when that UY is, will give you an idea of how long you will have to use them.

In terms of AP, you do need to show the blue card. I have heard that adult children can activate with the blue card and a copy of the parents drivers license that shows the same address as the ID of the child.

I have not experienced this other than to show the blue card.

So I did call MS on that just now and they said I'd have to call a week prior to her arrival to have a note put in the account about activating without a member present. That said I do like the idea of giving her copies just in case of my info too.

TYVM for the quick answers
