I am going to Anaheim for a convention in August. I will be arriving at the parks at 4:30pm. I have only one evening and really should limit it to one park. I will be alone. Which park?! I have been to WDW many many times so most of the classic rides I have done. Will I be able to get on any rides or see any shows or is it so late all of the good ones will have crazy lines and no fast passes? Do a lot offer single rider? Touring plans rates the day as a 3 on the crowd calendar so I don't think it will be crazy busy but I need advice of people who have been there. Any and all help is appreciated!

I'd probably do DCA. By August there's a good chance Fatasmic, ROA and railroad will be up and could draw a lot of crowds. In DCA there will likely be 2 WOCs and you'd have a chance at FP but if not, standby is easier than Fantasmic. You could always use the app before you arrive to see what wait times look like before deciding. We also don't know what impact MaxPass will have or if it will be in use by then. So fortunately you don't have to commit yet, and it may be something worth buying for you by the time of your trip.

I think you'd probably be fine with either. However, if you have never been to Disneyland, I would go there. FP may be gone, but you can use Single Rider on rides like Indy, Splash Mountain, Matterhorn. And honestly a lot of the FP are not gone super early. Space Mountain will probably be gone, but you might be able to still get one for Star Tours.

Also, DL almost always has a later closing time than DCA, which may figure into your planning.
