Going down to the house of mouse in a few more weeks and want to confirm a few details since my last trip to ensure we have a smooth time.

1. Is the signup for Jedi Training still done in the morning near the Launch Bay?

2. With only one show of Fantasmic per day while we are there I guess I should get a fastpass. Are the fastpass sections independently assigned or can you go to any of the fastpass sections?

3. We have booked an afternoon reservation for Blue Bayou but only plan on having dessert so the kids can see the pirates of the Caribbean ride from inside the restaurant. Are there any problems with this?

Yes, it’s where the old Autopia FP machines were.

FP viewing is all one section and it’s not that large. It’s the waterfront area on the right. The left is dinning package.

Yes, it's still in the same place. They'll take sign-ups as long as there are still slots available.

As the PP said, there is only one FP viewing area now (no more color coded viewing areas). The rest of the viewing area is either for the dining packages or standby. The dining package areas are a little bigger than previously and there is now a lot more standby viewing area.

I don't think there will be any issues, just note that the dessert menu isn't very extensive (I think there is usually only two or three options) and not all tables have a good view of the boats going by. While it's fun to watch the boats go buy, you don't really see any of the PotC part of the attraction (you'll see the portion just after the loading area to a little before going down the first drop).

Thank you for the answers. As for the BB, I am travelling with another group where the children expressed a desire to see the restaurant that you see from the ride. I wanted to indulge them but we wanted to avoid the pricey meal. Thanks for your help.

3. I've done the Blue Bayou reservation and only ordered dessert. No problems. Make sure you ask to be seated near the water.
