We just acquired a 17' boat. DFiance loves to fish and jumped at the chance to get it. I think it's ok, but boy is it dirty! It was left uncovered under a bunch of trees. The seats are mildewy, the carpet needs to be replaced and it's full of pine needles and leaves. I asked DF if we could just unhook the fish finder, take out everything that's not strapped down, cover the wiring and take the nasty thing to the car wash! :p He looked at me like I was nuts.

So anyway, the only thing I've found that kind of works on the vinyl seats is the Magic Eraser. DF was using some kind of Clorox cleaner w/o bleach on the outside and I guess it looks a little better.

I've read the threads about products people on this board use and their inventive ideas, so I'm hoping for some good advice. I have tomorrow off and hope to make some progress. What would you use to clean it inside and out?

A "For Sale" Sign would be my advice. It worked for me :teeth:

Try to find a cleaner called KRC-7. I works great on almost all kinds of surfaces except for aluminun (like shower door tracks) and formica(It can discolor both). I worked at a plumbing supply house and we sold it there. It should be readily available at a plumbing supply-it works great on fiberglass tubs, tile,linoleum-juust about anything. If you can't find it or need more info-just PM me-I have a couple of bottles in my closet.
