Need to choose 8 dinners :) update post 29

I think there was a breakfast-only character meal in Dinoland.

I'm on AllEars right now: Tusker House - The Animal Kingdom features a character breakfast, called Donald's Safari Breakfast located at the Tusker House in Africa. Characters include Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Mickey. All you can eat buffet from 8:00am - 10:30am. (Same day reservations may be available)

No Chip n Dale but I like that it's in the park. :thumbsup2

Cape May Cafe - Beach Club Buffet breakfast is served here every morning. Goofy, Minnie, and Donald are on hand and the meal is served buffet-style. Offerings include eggs, pancakes, meats, breads, fresh fruit and more. I think their dinner menu looks better.

The Garden Grill - Chip and Dale's Harvest Feast - Located in the Land Pavilion in the Future World section of Epcot this restaurant features dinner with Mickey, Chip and Dale, and Pluto, all attired "farmer-style". Kids' menu includes chicken tenders, mac and cheese. Reservations are recommended. Lunch ended October 6, 2008.

I will let Chloe choose between Garden Grill and Tusker House.

Artist Point looks fabulous! Have you had their gnocchi? I :lovestruc gnocchi.

Cool.... Thanks for the update. Sounds like they moved it. I think it was called "Breakfastataurus" when it was over in Dinoland.

I haven't been back to Garden Grill since we went vegetarian. For a place that is supposedly so much about farming, I was terribly unimpressed by their considerations for vegetarians.

That's exactly what we had.
The best vegan meal of the week (and better than all the merely vegetarian dishes we ate), this past week, was at Artist Point, a sweet potato gnocchi dish with roasted capers and roasted Brussels sprouts.

It was incredibly wonderful.

Perfect! Artist Point, now on list. I see something for eveyone on it. :thumbsup2 DH will like the wine flight too.

Guess their name is misleading. We'd go for Chip n Dale and not the menu; it doesn't look great:

Family Style Platter
featuring:

Warm Breads with Maple Butter
Harvest-inspired Farmer's Salad
Char-grilled Beef Strip Loin with Herb Sea Salt
Roasted All Natural Turkey Bresat with Cranberry-Orange Relish
Sustainable Fish of the Day with a Florida Citrus Crumb
Garden Fresh Vegetables
Smashed Potatoes
Turkey Dressing
Freshly Baked Strawberry-Rhubarb Crisp with Hand-Whipped Vanilla Bean Cream

Kids' Picks
Ages 9 and under
Choice of 1% Mickey Milk, small Bottled Water, or Apple Juice

Children's Entree Platter
Oven Roasted Chicken Drumstick
Baked Macaroni and Cheese
Broccoli
Crispy Sweet Potato Sticks
Dessert: Mickey "Mousse" Cookies and Cream

Technically we won't have any "kids" but wonder if they'll still bring out the mac n cheese?

These from Chefs looks amazing too: Filet de Saumon, ratatouille sauce Choron - Broiled salmon, tomato Bearnaise, ratatouille made with onions, zucchini, eggplant and bell peppers $27.95

Brochette de fruits de mer aux herbes - sauteed scallops, mahi mahi, and black tiger shrimp served with Mediterranean herb coulis, grilled tomato and black pearl rice $30.95

We grow a huge garden every year and we all love our veggies.

Whispering Canyon Cafe is definitely my favorite restaurant! I ate breakfast at Cape May before and it was delicious; however, I am not familiar with their lunch/dinner. Raglan road is great as well (as you know by the bold blue). Hoop-Dee-Doo Review is not only a great dining experience but it serves fantastic food! I have been several times and have enjoyed it every time. This past March I ate at Biergarten for the first time. The buffet style was nice and I surprisingly enjoyed more of the food than I thought I would (I am a very picky eater). The show was very entertaining too and we got to meet and share a table with a wonderful family from New York.

We loved Raglan Road and are huge U2 fans so all of the U2 stuff was super fun. :thumbsup2

The atmosphere at Biergarten seems awesome, the menu looks iffy.

We may have to try HDDR; any tips on getting a good table? I'm all about the view from rooms to dinner.

We love Raglan Road at DTD, it is a must do for us every trip. We also love Chef's de France at Epcot and Crystal Palace breakfast with Pooh and friends. This July we are trying for the first time - 1900 Park Fare, Coral Reef, and Ohana all for dinner. We are very much looking forward to these new additions.

Thank you! We love 'Ohana, in fact it will be difficult not to eat there. We've had really good food and service both times. In fact.......our last trip to WDW consisted of a red-eye with layover :scared: Our ADR was at 6ish and our party's 2 youngest kids (8 and 6) had crashed out about 2 minutes after the drinks and salad arrived. Obviously we had to be charged however we spoke with the manager and they wrapped up dinner to go for them, plus the extras we had on the table. That's what I call service. :thumbsup2

Chef's is on my must-do list. I'm excited to try some place new.

HIGHLY recommend Big River Grill, Rose and Crown, and SciFi. havent been to La Hacienda yet, but we're going in August and i've heard great reviews of it. I also have enjoyed Le Celier (and I hate steak most of the time) but haven't eaten from the new menu yet. The one time I went to Fulton's, I wasn't overly impressed with the seafood (although I'm from Maryland, so maybe I just expect more than I should haha). Sounds like you have some great food options on the list, I don't think you can go too wrong with a list like that!

:thanks: It is a nice list to choose from. I haven't read the La Hacienda reviews but have looked at the menu. In fact, I've poured over the menus today. It's raining, I've got 2 sick kids, and one whose been napping due to her fun weekend in Park City.

Here's what I've decided on:

Garden Grill (FW) - middle DD loves Chip n Dale- this will be our only character meal

La Hacienda (WS)- it's new, looks good, haven't read a ton

50's Prime Time (DHS)- the menu doesn't look fabulous but it sounds really fun

Rose and Crown (WS)- I :lovestruc English food

Via Napoli (WS)- the kids will want pizza one night

Sanaa (AKV)- we love Indian food

Turf Club (SSR)- SSR is our home resort and it will be a great first night dinner after flying and getting settled

Kouzzina (BW)- love Greek, want BW area after for a stroll

Artist Point, Jiko, and Chef's came very close to making the cut. Maybe I'll make 9 ADRs. ;)

I find myself in the same boat as a previous poster. I need to make 6 adrs for out december reservation. I want to try new places, but have a list of places I want to eat at again. So that makes it hard to try new places haha. We have eaten at....
Tusker House Breakfast (my fav character is Donald, so I love this place, and love early entry to the park)
Boma (stayed at AKL last trip and this place was amazing, one of the possible repeats on the upcoming trip
Ohana (the food and atmosphere is wonderful...another possible repeat
50's PTC (I thought the food was great and it was a fun lunch....my brother wasnt a fan so he has ruled this out already)
San Angel Inn Absoulutely love mexican food and the tacos de ribeye was amazing! But i think ill be trying the new place this time
Chef Mickeys (food was average but the character interaction was fun. we did this one to try it out so we probably wont be going back anytime soon)
CRT Breakfast(Honestly, I got this ressie for my previous gf who our inside joke was she was my princess.....so my princess was eating in the castle. not only did it end up bein a waste because were not together anymore, but the selection was really limited)
ESPN Club (just like any other sports grill out there)

I have 2 weeks to decide on my 6. So other than the few possible repeats mentioned, i need to find a place either at or around each park. Were staying at WL so the whispering canyon cafe is a lock. I wanna visit AKL again but I cant decide on whether to dump Boma for Sanaa. I want to try another place in the WS....Le Cellier, Biergarten???? any help is appreciated

She'll want to do a character meal for sure. She loves Chip n Dale so it looks like Garden Grill. We've done CRT and Chef Mickey's and won't go back anytime soon.

We don't love CRT or Chef Mickey's either. Never been to the Garden Grill. I always forget about that restaurant! My DS is almost 13 so he's not huge on characters anymore but we do a breakfast at The Crystal Palace each trip. Love that puffed french toast! :goodvibes

I hope your DD had a fantastic time on her special trip!:wizard:

:goodvibes Thank you! We liked CP too. I am now debating Tusker House instead. The menu at Garden Grill looks less appealing the more I look at it.

We are bumping Boma and trying Sanaa. We also love 'Ohana but think it's time to branch out as we've been twice and there are so many places to try.

Mods: can you please return this to the restaurant area? I changed the title as it's not about obtaining ADRs. :thanks:
