Need to cancel July 3-8 VWL 2BR ressie on borrowed points---what to do?

We have decided to postpone our extended family trip until next summer, so we will be cancelling our July ressies. Part of our reservation is a 2BR on borrowed points March use year. So, these points would be good March 2005 until the end of Feb 2006, correct?

Would I be better off:

1. renting the reservation as is?

2. renting the points?

3. transferring the points to another member?

I've never had to do this before; any other advice would be appreciated

I don't believe you can transfer borrowed points, so that one is out. I would try to rent it as is, put in your post (if you use DIS) that you would also be willing to check other dates.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't realize borrowed points couldn't be transferred. Of course, I have never borrowed OR transferred before
