Ok, so we are at the YC and have an Epcot day tomorrow. We have (please don't laugh) 23 CS credits and 15 snack credits to use in one day for our group of 4. Let's just say CL and the dining plan was overkill. Does anyone have any ideas how we can burn some of these?

You can use your snack credits for packaged food/candy that you can take home? Or get a lot of drinks and stay hydrated!

as for your CS.... no clue. Sorry!

If we had that many CS credits that were just going to waste we'd probably lunch around WS. Get a meal or two in each country and share among the 4 of you. Have a taste of some things and move on. Many desserts are prepackaged so you could save them "to go".

We had a ton of credits left at the end too! We bought candy/snacks to take home that all had some kind of Disney theme, like Mickey candy bars, cookies in the shape of a Princess etc. I figure I can spread the Disney magic out for a few extra days.

On our last day there we left around noon and were driving home. We stopped at Downtown Disney and got sandwiches to go with some leftover CS credits (we had eatten a late breakfast at Ohana so wouldn't be ready for lunch before leaving.). It worked so well! We stopped at a picnic area and had lunch and it was a nice break during the drive.

WOW! That is a lot of credits! Did you fly or drive? I know you can use a CS credit at the bakery in France (Boulangerie Patisserie) for either a sanwich, dessert and drink OR 2 desserts and a drink. They have boxes there, so maybe you could take a bunch of stuff to go???

Use the snacks for candy, cupcakes, fruit, drinks, etc that you can take with you. Don't forget the not drinks rule if you are flying.

I like the idea of eatting 'around the World' for the CS credits. Another option would be to spread some Disney magic and buy breakfast / lunch for people waiting in line with you. Better to spend the credits than waste them!

Convert the leftover CS into two snack credits each and buy packaged stuff for friends, teachers, families, stockings, etc...that's what we did in 2007 and I agree, the DDP is overkill.

Most places no longer convert a CS into 3 snack credits. A couple of people have reported success at this, but many have reported they were not allowed to do it anymore. No harm in trying, though. It will not work in a park, but maybe a small chance at the resort.

Dining Plan credits can't be used for/on/by persons not on thz Dining Plan. Nice idea, though :).

You could theoretically use up 20 of them pretty easily covering 3 meals for each person today and breakfast for each tomorrow prior to leaving - then get a meal from EOS or your home resort to take on the road or to the airport with you. Thats a total of 5 meals each, leaving only 3 unused credits. Get extra meals for the road I would say.

On our last day we usually go to DtD and hit Goofy's and EoS - this past April we left for the airport with 3 boxes full of goodies from Goofy's and a sandwich each from EoS.

We also went to the resort gift shop and bought some pre-packaged stuff - I was pretty disappointed with the selection this time around (in '08 there was sooo much to choose from)

If you can get the reservation, the brown derby is 2ts for lunch then you can go to a signature for dinner like artist point or yatchsman steak house (both usually have last min availability). This will use 16 of your credits up. If you have breakfast at any of the restaurants that will use 4 more. I guess you could convert your ts meals into sc. I recommend Germany candy shop for sc great for gifts and snacks for the trip home.

OP does not have any TS credits, only CS and snack credits. Converting is no longer accepted in most instances, and they have probably left WDW by now. :goodvibes
