Need to Borrow Points - How Is the 50% Rule Applied With Multiple Contracts?

If I want to borrow a few points from multiple home resort contracts ( three small contracts), am I limited to 50% per each contract or 50% from the total of all contracts?

As others have said, it is 50% per contract.

And although it seems like a distinction without a difference, it DOES matter. Because if you've used more than 50% of the points in one contract already, you can only borrow what's left and can't make up the difference by borrowing more than 50% from another contract.

Example:
Contract #1 = 100 points (75 points are already "spoken for" because of reservations that fall in the next UY, 25 points remaining)
Contract #2 = 100 points (all 100 points available in next UY)

You can borrow up to 50% per contract, but contract #1 only has 25 points available to borrow. So, instead of being able to borrow 100 points (50% of your total points for both contracts), you can only borrow 75 points (25 points from contract #1 because that's all that's left, and 50 points from contract #2 because you can only borrow 50% of each contract).

So I will be 56 points short for my current desired reservation. I have three small contracts, 60, 60, and 65 pts. So I would borrow 28 pts. from two of the three contracts and still be within the 50% rule. Correct?

Assuming that you have 28 points available to borrow from each of the contracts, you can do that. You could also borrow 30 points from one of the 60 point contracts and 26 from the other. You could even split the borrowing three ways among all three contracts, but I would probably opt to keep it as simple as possible. That way, you still have max points left in one of the contracts.
