Need Ticket Help

We will be going in May for my 50th birthday. I've paid for the airline tickets and have our Dolphin ressies secured. I know I need to make the restaurant ressies next, but I am in need of info about the park hoppers. I really don't want to wade through 5 pages of the "Everything you wanted to know.. " thread. Could someone please tell me about purchasing discounted hoppers? A few years ago I got a real deal by purchasing tickets form a British firm. What guidance do the ticket experts out there have to share? Many thanks,
