I must be a mean mother. When we went to WDW for my DD's 10th birthday, the trip *was* her extra special something.

Absolutely agree! My neck would not have survived front and center. We were in the upper level (Cat 2 or 3, can't recall) and the view was spectacular.

While I personally would love this (and did as my husband sent me off to GF spa for a 2 hr massage last year for my birthday while daughter did the Wonderland Tea Party), my DD wouldn't enjoy it at all. She clearly has no stress. LOL

My daughter REALLY wants to be in Disney for her birthday as my husband and I both have been in Disney for ours and have done special things for each other to celebrate the day. So although its not her birthday, I would still like to do something special for her to celebrate the day like we did, although her day' is not for another month after our trip. =)
