DH, DS (3) and, I will be staying at the CR on T'giving and will likely either hang around the MK resorts area that day, or possibly spend some time at Epcot. What are some good suggestions for Thanksgiving lunch or dinner? Traditional foods are preferred, but we're not really picky either. ;)

I cannot book ADR's until 8/25, so I want to have lots of "back up" choices for restaurants in those areas. TIA!

We did 1900 Prk Fre last year and loved it! There is also the ever popular Chef Mickey. We are trying for Ohana this year. We wanted something that was not traditional thanksgiving. I have heard Boma is good as well.

Here's one not to try for Thanksgiving, lol!
Tony's in MK. We did that for Thanksgiving dinner in '07 and we refer to that as "the craziest Thanksgiving meal" and always end up laughing when we think about it. The restaurant is gorgeous and the server was great but the "traditional Thanksgiving meal" wasn't good. The funny thing was, we got back to POP that night and the food court there was serving a full blown traditional Thanksgiving meal! funny.

But here are a few places that might be great:
Whispering Canyon at WL, Liberty Tree Tavern at MK

Good luck!

I thought that Ohana served a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving. I was looking at last years menus for Thanksgiving and they had turkey, potatoes, stuffing, greenbeans and pumpkin cheescake. Did they change it for this year? I make my ressies tomorrow and would love to know.

The only decent restaurant in MK is LTT. They always serve the traditional Thanks. meal, but they will also be the most popular. I would suggest GF Cafe, Citricos or WC as a good nearby restaurants.

At EC most of the WS restaurants will not have the Thanks meal. Rose and Crown, Coral Reef or Garden Grill will have it. If you dont mind a short walk just outside EC how about the Capts Galley or Yachtmsan St.

We did the Crystal Palace for Thanksgiving dinner in 2007. They had traditional Thanksgiving food along with their regular buffet offerings. It was very good.:thumbsup2
