I found some that I love today a brand called Saucony? They seemed really comfy as I have a hard time with shoes because the arch hurts so bad. I tried the nike shox and wasn't sure about them, I also tried some Asics (on a rec from DH) and they were ok but the arch kinda hurt. Anyone tried the Saucony brand?

Saucony is a very good brand, worn mostly by runners. I had a pair a few years back and found them very comfortable.

I loved Saucony running shoes when I ran. And there was an outlet store near where I lived at the time. Down in this part of the "world" they're pretty hard to find, but I love that brand so much, I made an extra effort to look for them. They have a wide toe box, good especially for those with wide feet.

Hi, I also have tried the Saucony shoes. I love them! I have had very good luck for my past three trips to Disney World wearing them. I didn't get achy feet or blisters at all.

My last trip was in August so I also purchased a pair of Keen shoes on Zappos. They were amphibious (I was prepared for rain) They also were extremely comfy. I wore them often and still do for running errands etc. They have great support and lots of cush.

Good luck. I know achy sore feet can sure be a BUMMER at WDW.

Make sure you have lots of room for your toes to wiggle because your feet will probably swell. I usually buy a size larger shoe for the trip.

I also recommend Saucony. However, depending on what is wrong or right with your feet, you should consider what type of Saucony's to buy. I was told by a sales clerk that all "running" shoes have a higher arch support than, say, a cross-training or walking shoe. This is ideal for me, since I need an orthotic additional support anyway.

If the arch area of your foot hurts, you might not need a running shoe. My favorite shoes are New Balance and Saucony.

I wore Rockport tennies last time and my husband wore Merrells. I got blisters on my little and big toes. my husband did great. This time I bought a pair of Merrel's. Although they have not been Disney tested, they are the best tennies I have ever had on my feet!:teeth:

Get some Teva sandals. Escpecially if you go on any water rides.

I absolutely love keds. They are still the only shoe I can continuously walk in and my feet never get tired. I have a bad back also and I find I even get better support from that shoe then others!

I would recommend New Balance tennis shoes. They come in widths if your feet need the extra room.

I swear by Ryka! Rykas are made especially for women's feet, unlike most other athletic shoes that are just "shruken" versions of men's shoes. Rykas are wider in the toe area, but taper at the heel just like the shape of a woman's foot. Since the toe box is a little larger and the heel a little narrower, there is much less slippage and therefore much less chance for blisters.

I used to be one of those people who thought all shoes were the same, but I have totally changed my tune after wearing these! They have carried me through 2 weeks in Alaska and countless days of standing on my feet as a teacher!

I think they can be found at bigger sporting good stores as well as a at QVC.com!
