On the 5/1 Eastern, our cruise meet group voted to meet by the Goofy Pool at 3:15 on embarcation day. We had a pretty active Cruise Meet thread and ThreeCircles created a page on his website for us to "register" and send family pictures so we had an idea of who was going and what we looked like. ThreeCircles also made name tags for everyone so as we gathered we could easily identify one another. We had about 30 folks show up.
Check out your cruise meet thread and see what everyone wants to do. Even if you don't have preprinted name tags, it might be nice idea for someone to bring a package of the peel and stick name tags to you can put names to faces. I remember names MUCH better if I can see them.
