Need suggestions for new laptop

My 6 months old Acer 5100 had died. I am looking at several brands, but really have no idea which one to purchse. I want one with a good warranty and life span. I do a lot of presentations at work, power point, and fun stuff at home. I need one that I can do photos, videos, scrapbooking, ect..
Also, need one that is wireless compatible with bellsouth.net, we have DSL.
I could never get the wirless to work on my Acer. My wireless modem was netgear.
Any suggestions?

We just bought a new lap top on the advice of our office computer guru and he had us buy a Toshiba A135. We needed it for the wireless capabilities and we're doing photos, videos, etc. It was a good buy with the rebate.
