Hey all!

Well after many trips to Disney and bringing our food with us, this will be the first trip with the Dining Plan. I am so excited, but not sure where to start! Here is some info. We are going the beginning of October and will be traveling only with our two youngest this trip. DS13 and DS10. They love seafood the most, then pizza, steak, burgers and italian. We really are not interested in character dining. We like to eat around 6 or 7pm and I am not sure how busy things get then.
Day 1 we will not be at a park so we can eat anywhere
Day 2 we can be at any park, but no definate plans
Day 3 we will be at Hollywood Studios
Day 4 we will be at Epcot, but think we are planning on the Biergarten (sp?!) that night.

This is a short trip so it shouldn't be to difficult, my problem is there are so many choices I don't want to pick a spot that is ordinary and miss out on a great place.

Thanks all for your help!

This has menus from all the restaurants that would probably help you the most in choosing. For your DHS day (day 3) I would consider Sci Fi. The food is good not great. But I think your kids will love the atmosphere of the place. It like you are at a huge drive in. The tables look like cars and you watch clips of cheesy B rated films (black and white) my girls always enjoyed it.

Hi! You are so lucky that your kids love any kind of food. I am going to focus on days 1-3 since you seem to know what you want to do on day 4, ok?

Day 1, not in any park-I would consider the Flying Fish Cafe on the Boardwalk just outside the back entrance to Epcot. Great Seafood! Plus the added benefit of the fun of the Boardwalk entertainers each night:joker:

Day 2, could be in any park-since you already have Epcot covered and DHS covered, I thought about MK. We love the Plaza, but it is more of a sandwich type place. A lot of times, we leave MK and hop the monorail and go to Citricos at the Grand Floridian and have a great meal and then come back, or either make it a "late" meal and end our evening that way. Of course there is always the California Grill at the top of the Contemporary which you can just walk to. Both are great, and not as fancy as you might think, but wonderful meals.

Day 3-DHS-The Hollywood Brown Derby-Hands Down - if you want seafood. My family can't wait to go back there for the grouper, and for the crabcake appitizer! YUM! of course if it's italian you have a hankerin for Mama Melrose is great and if it's a weekday, be sure to ask for Barbars. She's awesome!!
Hope you have a great trip!!!:)

Please check the meal plan to see what might require 2 TS credits before you book. With the plan you get 1 Counter Service meal, 1 Table Service Meal and 1 snack per night. So if you are staying 5 nights thats 5 TS credits each and if you book 2 meals at 2 TS credits restaurants you will come up short in the end.

This will show you a list of the restaurants and which are 2 TS credits.

If you like Italian- I would suggest Tutto Italia at EPCOT. It is a 1 TS meal, and the food and atmosphere are great! Want seafood??? Go to Coral Reef- another 1 TS meal. It's beautiful inside with big tanks of fish to watch while you're waiting for your meal. If it's steak you want.... try to snag a hard to find ADR at LeCellier in Canada- this place has great steaks and, again, is surprisingly only 1 TS credit to dine at.

Looking for a little fun and some good home cooking?? 50's Primetime Cafe in DHS is awesome! 1 TS will get you some really good food, fun for the boys (be sure to wash your hands) and a flash from the past!

between 5 :30 & 7:00 I think it's safe to say it's Prime time for eating.
Here some good places in my opionion
Epcot:
Teppen Edo
Coral Reef
Tutto
LC

Wave
Maya Grill

DHS:
Prime Time

Thanks so much for your suggestions, this really helps alot!

Time to get planning!
