Hi! I want to purchase a nice NON-digital camera!

I want one that is quick to focus. My zoom camera now takes good pics but takes FOREVER to zoom, focus and shoot! Everyone keeps talking through their gritted smiles, "are you done yet?"!

So, I want to buy one that takes CRISP gorgeous pictures, easy to use and FAST! focus and shoot! I do need a zoom.

Non-digital though! I want to be able to use it by the end of September!!! LOL

I just bought an Olympus Stylus for my upcoming trip. They have various zooms - I bought the highest zoom they had and it was $229. I've taken a roll of pictures with it. Other than sucking at using the flash - I should have used the night time feature for some of the things - the pics are crisp and clear. Plus it has the flash off feature so I can take pics inside rides.

Hi! I have a Canon Sureshot 60 zoom. This camera is awesome. It is very easy to use. Everyone says my pictures look great, even fireworks. It has several settings, including a timer. You can turn the flash off, for taking pictures inside attractions, or just put it on Auto, and the camera does the work.
The only thing I wish is that it had a closer zoom, but if you have one already that does that, you don't have to worry.

I purchased the Canon Elph APS with zoom last Christmas, I am loving it so far! :)

I have an Olympus Stylus that I have had for about 2 years and I love it! The feature that I liked when I bought it was that it is somewhat water proof- it's called All Weather........not that you can submerge it but I little splashing won't bother it. (I thought this would be great for those water rides at WDW) It has a 140 zoom and does a great job. My pictures at my bil's wedding were better than some the photographer took! It's easy to use and I love the feel in my hand. Take a look and see what you think!:D

I own a Pentax IQ zoom and I love it. It is very simple to use and takes GREAT pics. I believe you can now get an IQ zoom up to 200. Look on Pentax.com for info. I also own a Canon SLR and a digital Nikon Coolpix 4300. They all have their place and take great pics. If I bought another point and shoot it would definately be a Pentax. I hope that this helps!!!!
