We will be in WDW in October and are meeting my cousin and her family. There will be 4 adults, and 4 kids - ages 10,9,8 and 7. The 9 year old is a boy, the rest are girls. We will hang out together some but also do our own thing some. We want to eat together for at least one TS meal. We had hoped for the Grand Gathering at Tony's, but the dates won't work for us due to arrival/departure dates. So, I need your ideas! We have both traveled to Disneyworld with our families before and right now are considering WWC (dinner) or Chef Mickey's (breakfast or dinner). What are fun restaurants should we consider?

On our last trip we met up with DSIL and her family for several meals. Our favorites were:

Tusker House breakfast: The food is wonderful. A great variety and all fresh and yummy. The characters were great and spent good quality time with the kids (ages 5, 5, 11 & 14). We all had fun.

Ohana: This is a must do for us every time. We love the food and the activities / games were fun for all ages.

Have a great time!:thumbsup2

My #1 choice 'Ohana for dinner
#2 choice Donald's breakfast at Tusker House
#3 choice Crystal Palace for breakfast

Enjoy your trip!

Ohanas...my girls LOVE it there and the food was excellent again !! Totally a must do every visit for us :)

We love Ohana. Never had a disappointing meal yet. I just had a flashback to the banana bread pudding. It's practically worth planning a trip just for that.;)

My vote would be for Whispering Canyon, it has a great fun atmosphere for all...or if you could splurge, the Hoop Dee Doo Revue

Thanks everyone! We had Ohana on our "maybe" list and may have to move it up to "must do". My family has CP for dd's birthday, but my cousin's daughter chose the Castle! We loved Tusker House two years ago, but our family wont make it to AK this year, so TH is out. Looks like it is between WWC and Ohana!

#1 choice is Ohana - LOVE it

#2 is Biergarten, especially with a group of 8 because you will exactly fill a table - you ARE guaranteed to sit together because all tables there seat 8, and you are guaranteed not to have anyone else seated with you because the tables ONLY seat 8! Good food, lots of choices (mmm....pretzel bread..), entertainment, very geared towards people visiting back and forth.

Biergarten, Teppan Edo (if you've never had a teppanyaki-style meal before), Rose and Crown...

Teppon Edo would be fun. 8 people fit at one table and its awesome!!!

I was going to vote for the Tusker House but noticed that you would not be going to AK. My vote is for 'Ohana for breakfast or dinner. Have fun!

Another vote for Ohana -- be sure to book immediately!!

Also we like 1900 Park Fare Breakfast with the Mad Hatter :)
