We are going to be guests of some friends who are staying here in June, sharing a condo. We've never stayed off-site, so I could use some specific help.

1. The Westgate website gives very little detail. Anyone have nice pics of this resort?

2. Are 3 br villas available?

3. What building should we request? We'll have kids who love to swim, so a semi-short walk to a pool would be nice. I don't care if we're at the big, crowded pool or not...in fact, a smaller quiet pool would be fine.

4. Does anyone have simple directions for getting to Disney from here? I'm generally familiar with Orlando, but don't know where this is located.

Sorry so many questions. Thanks for patiently answering! Please don't tell me not to stay here or any horrible things about this property b/c I don't have a choice to change it, so we'll make the best of the gift we've been given!!

Thanks! Carmen

We've stayed at the Westgate Vacation Villas twice, and I have to say we thoroughly enjoyed it! We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo. The master bedroom had a king-sized bed, a big whirlpool bathtub, separate shower and toilet. The room was quite spacious. The second bedroom had 2 full-size (or maybe queen) beds, and dresser. The second bathroom has an adjoining door that goes into the bedroom, but you can also enter the bathroom from the hall (so the bathroom has 2 doors to it). There is a full kitchen, including full refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven, etc. THere is also a full size washer and dryer, which are very handy. There is a diningroom table with 4 chairs, plus a counter where you can sit as well with 4 chairs. In the livingroom, there was a big leather sectional. I believe it pulls out to another bed. There is a screened in patio or deck with table and chairs. It was quite nice. The only think I didn't like is in the main living area, there are tile floors. I like carpet, as the tile was a little cool, but I suppose it would be nice in the hot summer! There is a t.v. in each bedroom, and a t.v. and VCR in the livingroom. I heard they will be updating to DVD players eventually.

There is a pool between each group of buildings, so every unit is close to a pool. They supply both bath towels as well as pool towels, so that was nice.

We really enjoyed our stay there.

A good thing about the villas (and the TownCenter as they are on the same property) is that they have a LOT of pools. You won 't have a very long walk at all. )

4. Does anyone have simple directions for getting to Disney from here? I'm generally familiar with Orlando, but don't know where this is located. Disney Entrance is a quick ride down 192. (about 5 minutes to the entrance to Disney property)
