We are having a potluck lunch on Monday for a co-worker who is getting married next weekend. I need to add I really don't like to cook, nor am I really any good at it.

I need something easy....we have lots of salads and dips already being made. Any suggestions.

A meat tray??? Dessert tray??:confused3 Good luck on whatever you decide. :goodvibes

Asst. meats and a package of rolls
A veggie or fruit tray - even a bunch of grapes (cut the stems into pieces people can grab a small bunch)
A batch of brownies or some cookies - go buy the dough already done and just bake
Salami, cheese and crackers
Cream cheese w/apricot jam poured on top, served with Wheat Thins (sounds strange, huge hit)
An assortment of olives
Hummus and pita chips

If you have a slow cooker, try Sloppy Joes: Fry up hamburger and add manwich, keep on low. Or, dump can(s) of green beans and pototoes, cut up sausage and layer between beans and potatoes (easier than stirring) season salt and pepper. When you get to office add a large can of chicken broth (less chance of spilling liquid) and put on low until lunch.

How about some finger sandwiches?

cocktail meatballs? you can always use frozen meatballs

Fruit salad?

Bring some soda?

Desserts?

How about dessert? You could always buy something instead of having to make it.

My experience with potlucks is that often there are a lot of main dish type foods or a lot of deserts and nothing in between. I would get some "filler" food like chips, veges and dip, etc.
