Need someones help!

I will be traveling by car with my kids...I know how to get to orlando...I have mapquest duh...lol...but I don't know where a good 'overnight' might be on the way. I live in Northern Kentucky (Florence Y'all) and I was thinking of staying over in Macon Ga...but I wasn't sure if anyone thought or has stayed anywhere there or thinks I could make ut further down and should I?? My mom and husband are alittle worried cause I will be traveling alone with kids but I am 42 and not a dumb person...I know not to stop and some out of the way gas station and so on etc etc...but I would like to stay somewere safe that night on the way down...?? Help me set everyones minds at ease...mine too...! I would love to drive straight through but I know that would be not be possible...I hate hotels but not bad enough to drive 14 hours straight. Money isn't a great obsticle although I would rather save it for Disney...so factor that into where I would be staying...thanks ahead of time for your help!

Check "roomsavers.com" and than .... You can take other peoples advice....
La Quinta Macon Inn and Suites is nice but the staff can be a little unfriendly but its a nice place.....

Good luck driving there and have a safe trip as well as a fun time

When you cross into GA stop at the Welcome Center and pick up some magazines with hotel coupons in them. Pick your exit to find a hotel and use the coupons.

I travel to Macon on business all the time. Just north of Macon before I-475 splits from I-75 there is a are a number of nice and fairly inexpensive places to stay.

Try the Hampton Inn just off I-75 in Forsyth, GA. Its clean, not too expensive, right next to the interstate, and there's places to feed kids close by.
