Okay today is the last day for the 50% Yankee Candle sale. I just had to order a few more. :) I have waiting to burn in the fall Pumpkin Pie, Warm Apple Crisp and in the living room Autumn Wreath.

So I needed to get some December holiday candles. I have a 14.5 oz Christmas Wish already and in my cart I have to buy:

Christmas Wreath
Jack Frost
Macintosh and Peach (its not holiday-ish but my DH thought it sounds good)
Home For The Holidays.

How are these scents?? I like to have a food type burning in the kitchen andthen others in the living room. Did I make good selections???

Thank you!!!!

Home for the Holidays is my favorite Christmas scent. :goodvibes

I like Christmas Wreath, Home for the Holidays and Jack Frost :)
But...I think CW is too strong, so I go for Mistletoe.

What is the difference between Christmas Wreath and Mistletoe?? I was thinking Mistletoe at first but not sure.

Thank you!

To me mistletoe smells more like a real Christmas tree. Christmas wreath smells like somone trying to make what smells like a Christmas tree, does that make sense? Anyway I bought three Mistletoe candles and the new Holiday Sage ;) I'm ready for the holidays!

Now I'm opposite - I like CW as opposed to Mistletoe because it's a little stronger. I didn't think Mistletoe had a distinctive enough smell for me. I love Christmas Wreath though. I was doing the same thing as you this afternoon :teeth: I got Pumpkin Pie (two of those), Christmas Wish, Christmas Wreath, and Harvest - now I've been sitting here wondering if I should get another Christmas one for the kitchen :)

I agree. The Wreath is too strong and more "fake" smelling to me.
Mistletoes smells more like a tree sitting in your home.

Christmas Wreath smells like cat urine to me! If you want a christmas tree scent or pine like scent, Mistletoe is the best for that. Last year when they were having their after christmas sale I bought several of the large jar candles, two for myself and two for gifts to give this christmas.

Macintosh and Peach is okay, I bought a tart in that scent and glad I didn't buy anything bigger. It's not something I'd buy on every trip to the store.

I have Home for The Holidays in the larger jar candle, but I like Christmas Eve scent more. Both are nice during the holidays.

I describe Jack Frost as a vanilla-minty scent. I have a few tart burners in that scent.

Oh boy! Now I am even MORE confused LOL.

Between these...

Jack Frost
Mistletoe (I decided to for that over Christmas Wreath)
Christmas Eve
Home For The Holidays

Oh this is so hard since I can not smell them. :guilty:

Lisa, you made some nice choice's. If you do not like them, you can return them. I got my order in. I got the Autumn Wreath, FarmHouse Apple, Harvest and ButterCream, I liked them all! :goodvibes

I have no idea where Dan came up with the Mulun in MGM.... :rotfl:

What does home for the holidays smell like?
I really like cinamon and those type smells. :goodvibes

How do you get the 50% off?

Please just stop :goodvibes

I have an order coming on Tuesday and after reading about all the Christmas scents I went back and ordered 3 more tonight :earseek:

Sugared Plum
Jack Frost
Home for the Holidays

I am glad it is almost over ;)

Jack Frost is awesome! It is pepperminty and wonderful! But, what about Christmas Cookie? :goodvibes

I used my coupon yesterday at my local mall store. They were all out of Autumn Wreath...I really wanted that one. I ended up with two Spiced Pumpkins. They are burning now...yumyum.

I didn't know that about Mistletoe. I will have to sniff that next time I'm there. :dog2:

PS... I picked up a 22oz Peach for $10 at one of the stores near me. It was on sale because it was a summer scent. You may be able to pick up some good deals that way too! :sunny:

Just wanted to let you all know...my sister works for Yankee Candle and you can return any candle (even if already burned) if you don't like the scent....I have done this numerous times.......cause you never know if you will like the scent or not....Just a "heads up"

I do have a little jar of Christmas Cookie left also. So Jack Frost would be a good "kitchen scent" it sounds foodish LOL. Plus I think the jar is just so cute with the snowman on it! :)
