Need some thoughts and prayers...please.

Please give your thoughts and prayers to my Dad's part of the family, my grandmother passed away this afternoon here around 12:00 PM. She died from cancer, she had been fighting this cancer for two whole years. It's amazing she lived this long, and at least I got to spend some time getting to know my grandmother a little bit more then any other time in my life, and that she wanted to get to know me before she left this world. I wasn't too close to my grandmother, but I loved her 'cause she was/is family. Yesterday I went over to my grandparents house and sat in the room where my grandmother was laying down in her death bed, she wasn't responding to anyone, her whole body was shutting down. I'm glad I got to see her last night for the last time to her I loved her.

R.I.P. Grandma. I love you and I miss you.

So...I went to the 'service'...for my Grandma. It was nice. A lot of family was there today, there was actually a Bagpipe player there as well. I loved that so much, and I know that my grandmother if she was there (and if it was a good occation)...she would have loved it too. But, I'm pretty sure she was there with all of us in spirt.

I just wanted to say to all of you, thank you for all of the kind words, also for the thoughts and prayers that has been going to our family in this difficult time. It's very much much appreciated. Thank you.
