I DH and I was originally planning to go to Disney on Jan 14 but we upped it to Jan 13 (staying at BLT then switching to GFV). We need some ideas on things to do non-park. We wanna see what else Disney to do on the 14th. We are flying from Cali so we will get in late on the 13th. I have a tea booked at 330. And we have Splitsville that night at 830pm.
What else to do that morning/afternoon?

In that scenario we'd likely sleep in then get a late breakfast or early lunch and soak in the resort itself or do some light exploring.

Yeah it just sucks we have to be out of BLT by 11 and can't check in to GFV until 4pm.

I don't see it as that big of a deal. You can certainly check in (and you should) but you may not get your room until later, sometimes 4 or after. Hopefully your room will be ready in time to get it settled before your tea reservation. For us we'd plan to stay in the room until around 11 or just before, do an early lunch or late Breakfast close by and then go over to the GF. However, I'd likely go over early and check in then return. You might consider an 11ish breakfast at Whispering Canyon, GF cafe or counter service since it's al a cart rather than a buffet like chef Mickey's due to your mid afternoon tea.

An alternative would be to have an earlier breakfast in the room then go to MK (if you have a pass) for a couple of hours, to play mini golf or just explore the resorts nearby. You could just soak in the ambience at GF during your down time before either your room was ready or the tea.

I would add that for Marriott you'd be able to stay in one villa until the other were ready even if it was a different resort and I do think Disney could do this with no impact on room readiness.

What you may like is to rent one of those 2 seat boats at BLT Lake or GF and tour Bay Lake. That is fun!

Yeah I hoping to sleep in and get a brunch type of thing. Mini golf sounds fun! I always say I wanna go play putt putt!

If your feeling adventurous, maybe a horseback ride at the campgrounds. I think they still have them.

We had room service breakfast, that we ate on the table pulled in front of the sliding door, theme park view...wonderful and reasonably priced
