This is my first time going to WDW with a meal plan bought. I have the deluxe meal plan (for 2012 traveling in feb) , and I have already made some reservations, they are as followed

Coral Reef Restaurant
Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show
Tusker House Restaurant
Cap'n Jack's Restaurant
Kouzzina by Cat Cora®

We are spending a week at WDW and it will also be our honeymoon, and I would like to take full advantage of our meal plan, so far I think I did a good job at picking out a range of different restraint options. But I was wondering if there is any other places that people could recommend which I can use our meal plan at, which may be more romantic for an intimate evening.

We have always enjoyed Coral Reef.
We didn't enjoy Rose and Crown (the food just wasn't our thing).
Never been to Spirit of Aloha
Tusker House : We have been for breakfast many times and loved it.
Cap'n Jack - never been
Kouzzina - never been

Some places that I would recommed if I were on my honeymoon and using the Deluxe Dining Plan:
California Grill
Jiko
Via Napoli
Kona for breakfast
Flying Fish
:)

What about O'hana? Boma? Grand Floridian Cafe? I know these arent fancy for a honeymoon but still good choices!

ya it does not have to be fancy fancy or anything just good food and nice atmosphere

this is going to be her first time at WDW so really anything i think she will be good with.

I'm not saying any of your choices are poor by any stretch of the imagination but can only offer the following:

As far as your list I've eaten at Tusker, Coral Reef and Rose and Crown. Tusker was pretty cool, nice and different atmosphere. Food was pretty good, nothing great. Coral Reef had a great ambviance, we sat right next tot the tank. The food was good but that was 4 years ago. I have read nothing but bad reviews the past 2 years as they have apparently switched management, menu's etc. Rose and Crown was good but it's more a "fun" atmosphere as opposed to "honeymoon" style.

If it were my wife and I, I would definately make it a point to eat at a different location in the WS such as Chefs De France, Restaurant Marrakesh or San Angel Inn. I would say Le Cellier but your from Canada (it appears) so that might be like my wife and I eating at the American Pavilion (lol). I would also highly recommend California Grill for both the food, ambviance and view of Wishes! It's the most romantic dinner my wife and I have ever had. You have to make the reservation for around the same time as wishes. Narcosee's is also excellent. I could go on but those would be some of my initial choices.

Not for nothin' but Cap'n Jack's gets pretty lousy reviews here. Was there a particular reason or dish that they serve that made you select that restaurant?

If you need a place at DTD for a meal, there are better choices. Raglan Road gets good reviews for the most part.

Fulton's is very good but I'm not sure if they're on the DxDP.

Chef's de France is very good for lunch not so much for dinner.

Cape May Cafe at the BC has a very nice seafood buffet in the evening. Good snow crab legs and enough variety for people who don't eat seafood.

No nothing really drew me to Cap'n Jack's, really, it was one of the only few places that I could use my deluxe plan at, most of the other places only took the premium plans the to me the menu looks ok, was just looking for a place for lunch at DTD

I'd highly recommend Citricos and Artist Point. Both have excellent food, service and atmosphere. Both are absolutely perfect for honeymoon dining!

Bistro de Paris is best on property but it's not on the dining plans unfortunately.

We got married at WDW in 2005 and honeymooned there and have taken a few "romantic" trips after my husband came home from deployments. Our absolute must do is the California Grill - we usually book about an hour/hour and a half before Wishes at MK and leave our table to go out on the roof to watch Wishes then return to our table for dessert! We also thought Artist Point and Jiko were great and romantic! Enjoy your honeymoom -it's going to be amazing!!!

Not sure if anybody has said either of these...but Cape May Cafe Seafood Buffet. (all you can eat seafood and crab legs)

And Whispering Canyon. Rowdy, lively dinner time.

Also if you want some different counter service try Pepper Market at Coronado Springs resort.

It seems that just about everyone has mentioned California Grill, I guess I will have to look in the it, seems to be a crowd favorite. i am guessing dinner is the best time

This is a great place, but there will be more kids around due to watching the nightly fireworks from the viewing area.

Some of the others are more suited for a romantic/adult night (Citricos, Artist Point, Jiko, etc.)

Just wanted to point that out :goodvibes

oh good point.. but i am a big kid when it comes to disney, so having kids around is not a problem really
