Need some kid meal help

I will have a 6 and 12.5 year old girl. We will stay at the Poly....help me pick some kid friendly dinners

Jan 22 breakfast at Ohana. This will be our MK day

Jan 23 breakfast at Princess in Norway. This will be our Epcot day

Jan 24 breakfast at Chef Mickeys. This will be our AK morning and I have no idea what to do after that, maybe go to HS?

Jan 25 breakfast at Crystal Palace (or do you think it is worth it to go to the castle? This is our departure day and I wanted to stay in MK until 2 or so).

Should I start or end our trip with Ohana or CRT or CP? On the 22nd MK has morning EMH so I thought a 7 am ressie at Ohana, finish up and then get to MK by rope drop...or is it not that busy in January that we dont have to go to EMH?

I've enjoyed your dining reviews! We tend to eat at a lot of buffets so our younger kids are not limited to the lame-o kids' menus. They also enjoy both 50's Prime Time and Sci-Fi at DHS. Both are really fun for the kids! Raglan Road has a pretty good kids' menu too. For buffet dinners we like, Crystal Palace, Tusker House, and Biergarten. If January is like early February I'm guessing you won't have to worry much about EMH. Happy planning!

I can't believe you left Boma's off your list

I have a DD14 & DS11, we go to WDW about 2 times a year. DD has become slightly more adventurous and DS learned that he likes filet mignon & creme brulee while at Disney .

I asked them their thoughts and they like pretty much all of the buffets because they can try some "grown up" food and still have the safety net of the kid section on the buffet. Boma & Cape May (breakfast & dinner) especially.

DHS: Brown Derby is the whole families favorite restaurant, they also like 50's PTC & Sci-Fi

Epcot: LeCellier, Chefs de France & Garden Grill

MK: we like LTT at lunch, but not their dinner menu

AK: they both liked Y&Y last month, Flame Tree (even though it's CS)

WCC at WL is a fun meal, we've also gone to Planet Hollywood 3 times now and have had good meals. Beaches & Cream is always a winner (and you can finally get your No Way Jose )

Unless you're going for MLK weekend, it shouldn't be too bad for crowds. IMO you might be better off going to Ohana's the first morning. Feed them before the exictement of walking into MK It's been years since we went to CRT, but it was a really neat experience (at least for DD, DS was not impressed ) Since your planning Norway, you probably don't need 2 princess breakfastes. 1900 Park Fare was good too when we went

Thank you! I was kinda thinking a few buffets too but the last time we took them to Chef Mickeys it was a nightmare but then again they will be 3 years older so maybe it will be easier! I am hoping January is quiet attendance wise.

I know, can you believe we are not going to Boma?! This trip is the girls Xmas gift so it is all about them, hence all the character breakfasts.

I emailed my sister the dinner menu options at many places and she said the kids will eat pizza, pasta without sauce and chicken nuggets....what the heck is up with that!? If they could have their way they would eat Apple Jacks for every meal.

I was thinking 1900 Park Fare for dinner even though DH doesnt like the noise level there. At least that is another character meal and they should eat something but then again if they dont that is a lot of money wasted.

Another option is just any TS place that DH and I like and let the girls eat pizza or chicken strips but I dont think they will sit still while DH and I enjoy a meal. Maybe we can tucker them out at the parks and they will sleep at the dinner table??
