Need some inspiration!

Help, my dd is getting married on Sept. 4 and I would like to be down about 15 lbs. by that time. I don't want to do anything stupid or drastic-just healthy. Who has some suggestions and motivation for me? I love the Dis and know that you guys can give me the support that I need. Thanks!
 
I'm a newbie on WISH too. I find that reading the WISH journals of people who have been here for awhile is very inspiring. I try to read a little of the journals each day. For initial weight loss, try smaller portion sizes and decrease the junk food. Drink more water and try some simple cardio, whatever machine is sitting in your house, use it for 10-15 minutes a day to start. Or try a walk each day for the same amount of time. I also try to each more natural foods (grown in the ground i.e. fruits and veges) and less processed stuff.

Just some suggestions. Glad more people are joining and trying to live healthier!:wave:
