Do you all have any ideas on how I can make our 25th Anniversary special on our cruise? It's not until next January, but good things take time to plan. I am particularly interested in how to make it special for my DH. He works so hard and is a wonderful devoted husband. Usually he is doing special things for me- SO I want this anniversary to really focus on him. Is there anything special on the 7 day Western cruise we can do? Anything on the islands that particularly would be interesting for men to do? Any ideas you have would be appreciate.

Also- if you order room service from the ship- can or will they set up a table with linen table cloth, candles etc?

DW and I celebrated our 25th on the Magic 2 years ago......we surprised each other with baskets from Shirley and Norm...( I'll bet they had a good laugh over that one ) Shirley did a great job......I scuba dive and she included some items that involved scuba or emblems associated with scuba, my favorite beer, etc.
I also got a massage in the cabana's on C.C....that was great !!
Just remember, what ever you do...it will be great coming from the heart !!

We also are taking DCL for our 25th anniversary. My DH also works very hard and doesn't get to golf as often as he used to so I am arranging for him to have a golf day on St. Thomas.

We're celebrating our 20th anniversary on the Magic the week of 9/18/04. My DH is a Nascar fan. I ordered through Nascar.com several items, one being a Nascar hat with Mickey Mouse on the front. I plan to pack these items in my suitcase and surprise him with them once we are in our stateroom. I also plan to contact Shirley at Perfect Gift. My DH is a fishing enthusiast and I plan to sign him up for the fishing excursion on CC, assuming that excursion will be available. The fishing excursion on CC was not available last July when we sailed on the Wonder.

Whatever you do for your 25th will be special on DCL.

Don't forget dinner and brunch at Palo.

It sounds as if we all need to book the 'romantic escape at sea' package. (If anyone else out there know of the thread as the 'search' is not working.)

DH and I are celebrating our 15th in June, and I'm tempted to book it but am still debating because of the $price$. It's 299.00, but one doesn't have to stand in line for Palo ressies, and it covers the cost of couples massage, room service champagne breakfast, and rose petals on the bed one night. (I think it also covers a gift and photo album?) I need to call Disney to verify, but anyone else out there who wants to make it extra special, this is a really nice thought!:groom: :bride:

We celebrated our 25th on the Magic last November. We didn't do the romance package, as the couples cabana massages weren't included. We did them on CC. We had dinner in Palo on our anniversary & splurged with a bottle of Opus One, one of our favorite wines. Just being on the ship will be magical for the 2 of you!

Congratulations & enjoy your trip planning!

DH enjoys geological things. Anything along those lines on excursions on the islands?

We celebrated our 20th last summer. DH contacted Shirley and had an anniversary "basket" delivered. I had something for him too, but he really blew me away.

A dozen gorgeous red roses along with champagne and...this was to me the really cool part...he had her create corsage and boutinnere of silk roses and made part of the basket. We had already planned to dress for formal night and wore these as well. It is wonderful and we have some great pictures with the kids, etc all dressed up and with the flowers. Naturally people ask and we received many good wishes.

We had considered a couples massage on CC but ended up doing it onboard. We also did all of the adult activities, such as Palo brunch, we wished to - we did NOT however, do the romance package. We traveled with two teens and that was not a discussion I was about to have....

 uh kids, if you see rose petals on the bed.... :teeth:

We just cruised for my DW's 50th birthday and our 32nd anniversary. My surprise for her was first class tickets to fly. I managed to keep it a secret right up to the time we had to board the plane. We had never flown first class and she was quite surprised and happy.
