When we travel to Disney World, we normally take whichever grandchild turns 10 that year and we never have any trouble with keeping our dining credits separated since we are all considered Disney Adults.

This year we are going with my middle sons family so we will have one of my grandsons that will be considered a child on the dining plan. This won't be a problem since he eats like an adult and will probably eat the adult meal in place of his 10 yr old brother that eats like a bird. :rotfl:

My question is, when we use our counter service meals on the regular dining plan, how will they determine a kids credit vs an adults credit? Are they designated and easy to keep separated? I would just hate to have an adult credit taken away with a kids meal.

I am sure this is discussed somewhere else on the board, but even after doing a search, I couldn't find it.

:thanks: for your help! :disrocks:

QS or CS credits are one and the same. There are no differences in them. For example your dining would show like this

12 Adult TS credits
6 Kids TS credits
18 QS/CS credits

You can technically get anything on the menu at CS with a "kids" credit, although it is against the rules.

Thank you for the info.
That helps but it would not be a problem using those kids meals, my 10 yr old DGS only eats mac n cheese, chicken nugets, hot dogs and fries.
I was just wondering how they would show up.

Are the wristbands loaded with the dining plan data like the key to the kingdom cards used to be? I would think so but :confused3
How things have changed in 2 years. :rotfl:

Yes, your bands have dining info on them. You scan them at CS, TS, and snack locations when making "purchases". Your receipt will show how many snack, TS or CS credits you have left and corresponding dining locations.
