We will be staying at Kidani Village in early June.An I wondering what it would cost for.
1 typical dinner or lunch
2 Is the Disney Meal plans better than the food delivery services.
3 Couple's Relaxation Package at SSR what is included in the package for $400

Thanks for any help you can give

If you're asking about the dining plan I'd recommend it. Make a few rezzies and you're worry free at a great rate.

For some reason the SSR spa pricing and description information is not easily accessible from the Disney SSR site. I stumbled over some information when I made a reservation for my wife back in March, but I cannot find that site now. However, here is some information I located:

http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/dispa.html

I suggest reviewing some menus from the WDW info sites (like wdwinfo.com) to see if the DDP makes sense for you. We saved a bunch last December when our family of four visited (despite the wife using a table service credit for a breakfast that wasn't planned). For $40/day, the DDP is a good deal, IMO.

1. "Typical" is a tough term to define. Typical for my family, would be $7-10/person for lunch and $15-20/person for dinner. We dont eat a lot of appetizers other than salad or an occassional specialty item at a given restaurant nor do we usually order desert.

2. I have yet to find (and we price it out year after year) the DDP to provide any savings. It does however provide convenience; being able to prepay for your meals. If you dont mind spending a little more and like the convenience of being able to pre-pay your meals at check in, then the DDP works good. Assuming you were going to eat only at those restaurants that participate in the DDP to begin with.

2a. There was a thread on here (or maybe it was another BBS) a while back (years ago), which I tried to find to link to but cannot locate, which was basically a challenge to anyone who could provide actual proof of savings using the DDP with a minimum of 7 nights. To my knowledge, I do not believe anyone was ever able to conquor this challenge. I believe the "proof" needed was receipts of all meals for the trips duration for all party members which were measured against the menu prices.

3. I am uncertain about the couples relaxation package but DISHoppy has provided that information already.

My wife and i did the DP at $30 each per day. Did we get our $ worth? I believe we did. We ate at Le Celieur, Kona Cafe and ESPN Club for our sit downs. If you read my thread on "bad resturaunts" you will see we did not like Kona. We loved the other two and even with only alowed the main course and dessert on the DP we had extra food at ESPN. I swear their appetizers could be meals. The counter meals we had would have been pricey alone. We ate more then $30 a day worth a food. Even with just the little frig at AKV you could probably each eat for less then $30 a day but not the quantity of good food. Super Target is not far away from AKV. Now if you have a "Owners Locker" you could store a crock pot in it and really eat good, cheaper. We usually find a car rental for VERY low costs (May 7-10 a Dodge Avenger for $10 a day) and drive to the Super Target to stock up on some foods. This past trip was just for bottles of water, breakfasts and late night in room snacks.
