Need some help with transportation OKW

We are staying at VWL and have an "off" day where we would like to have breakfast at Olivias at OKW. Afterwards I thought it would be fun to take the river cruise from POR to DTD.

Well it's not turning out to be as easy as I thought. It seems that to get from OKW to POR one would have to travel to DTD first. Is there another way? The resorts are so close to each other I can't imagine having to go that far out of our way.

Also, what are the transportation options from VWL to OKW? And how long should I plan for?

From VWL to OKW, it is generally best to take a bus to DtD and either take the boat or bus to OKW...but the boat usually will not be running early enough for breakfast.

Another option would be to go to the MK and catch an OKW bound bus. Disney does not have direct resort to resort transportation options.

The resorts are very close to one another, but to get there easily your best bet would be to get a taxi cab I would think.

If I take a bus from MK to OKW, how long a ride is it?

The last time we were at POR we were disappointed to find the boats not running before 11:00am. This was a weekend, but I suspect the weekday schedule is similar.

Once the bus leaves MK, probably about 15 to 20 minutes, depending upon traffic. It would be fastest to get off at the first OKW stop (Peninsular Road) and walk across the bridge to Olivia's, rather than sit on the bus through the rest of OKW, as normally the Hospitality (check-in/Olivia's) area is the last stop on the route.
