We're going Oct 4-9, 8 people. I am trying to plan meals but it's getting kind of overwhelming. I know we're doing breakfast at Chef Mickey's on 10/6, that's as far as I've gotten, lol. I would really appreciate suggestions on where to eat in each park. We'd like to eat cheaply for the majority of our meals, possibly having 1 sit down meal per day. I know we'll go to Rainforest Cafe in AK, but I'm clueless as far as where to go for a decent meal at MGM or Epcot. Decent, fun, but not too expensive. Plus my niece is 5 and very picky, so it can't be too exotic.

The only recommendation I've gotten personally was for Sci-Fi at MGM, but I've been reading that the food is horrible. Is it worth the money? We're traveling with my 2 boys, ages 10 and 8, and my 5 year old niece. Thank you for any help!

What I would do is figure out a rough schedule for what days you'll do what parks and go from there. It doesn't make sense to make plans to eat at a bunch of places you won't even be visiting.

We always love SciFi and have never found the food to be horrible (dinner or lunch). It's a GREAT atmosphere and very very fun for kids (esp boys). Lunch is cheaper, and they will have a more burger and fries menu than dinner.

At Epcot, there are so many great choices I wouldn't even know where to start. It really depends on what your family enjoys eating. We don't want to go to Epcot and eat mashed potatos and steak as we can have that at home! We like to try the great ethnic restaurants there instead. Others are content eating hot dogs in the US pavillion ;)

Scour the menus at www.allearsnet.com and see what appeals to you. Epcot has a ton of great counter service places, we just ate our way around in May instead of doing a meal. You'll be there during the FOod and Wine Festival and you may want to just leave time in Epcot to just taste test.

The resorts usually have the best restaurants, so even though you may be at MK one day, you could jump on the monorail and go to 'Ohanas for dinner or something.

Good luck!

Animal Kingdom I'd go to the flame tree or Truskers, MK I'c go for Pesco Bills if you want counter service of LTT if you want a sit down and Epcot 9 dragons at China is quiet good value. When at MGM I'd go across to beaches and cream at the YC.

We enjoy Columbia Harbor House or Cosmic Ray's for counter service lunch at MK.

Tangerine Cafe is our very favorite counter service (Epcot/Morroco). It has some unusual foods but also foods a more traditional eater would choose. The setting is lovely and the food is delicious!!!

The only counter service place we like at MGM is the ABC Commisary. It has some more interesting lunch items. (We usually eat at Brown Derby - but it's pricy).

Definitely check out the menus on allearsnet. That should help you narrow down what your neice will eat.
