Hi everyone,

Not sure if I am posting in the right place but here goes. Need your help in deciding what 2 weeks would be better and what plan would be better. This consists of doing Disney Parks, Disney Cruise Line, and Universal. So the plan can be the following:

First scenario Wed. July 27th, 2016 - Saturday August 6th, 2016
1.) Wed 27th - Friday 29th - Royal Pacific - One day US/IOA
Fri 29th - Mon Aug 1st - Disney Cruise Line (3 nights)
Mon Aug 1st - Sat Aug 6th - POR-Riverside - Disney Parks

Second scenario Sat. July 23rd, 2016 - Wednesday August 3rd
2.) Sat 23rd - Friday 29th - POR - Riverside - Disney Parks
Fri 29th - Mon Aug 1st - Disney Cruise Line (3 nights)
Mon Aug 1st - Wed Aug 3rd - Royal Pacific - One day US/IOA

The two scenarios would be the same above as far as what is planned but could be moved to the following alternate dates:
1.) First scenario would be Wed. Aug. 3rd - Sat. Aug 13th
2.) Second scenario Sat July 30th - Wed Aug 10th

Please let me know what you guys think as far as what you would do particularly as far as Universal before cruise then Disney or Disney before cruise then Universal?.....and out of those dates what would be your preference? I know it is summer but only time we can go.

Thx!!

I can't answer the order of things; I'm not sure which way I would want to do it. However, I do think I would choose Aug 3-13 for the timing. Things start to get less crowded through the month of August in WDW, so that last week would feel less crowded than any of the other dates.

I would prefer park first, then cruise. On park days, we run around and busy non-stop. It would be nice to relax on the ship after that. And personally, I would forgo Universal for a 4 day cruise. That extra day at sea is really nice, especially if you plan to get off the ship in Nassau.

If Universal is a non-negotiable for your family, I would go with Option 2.

Thx for the reply - reason we picked the 3 day cruise is because it would be our first time on a cruise for the family, so figured ease in to it as far as being out at sea, motion sickness, etc.

Just my opinion, but 3 days is short. By the time you get up to speed on how to do everything, it's time to get off the boat. A full day at sea makes it easier to do all those "extras" like seeing characters, riding Aquaduck, etc.

But whatever you decide, it will be a magical vacation!

Ok great good to know. Think they only offer the 4 day cruises Monday through Friday so would have to rethink my plan there - LOL!

If you are going to do all 3 stays, I would do them in the order you have:
2 nts Universal
3 nts Cruise
5 nts Disney
Longest stay last, since you will finally settle in there and it'll feel the most like vacation.
But I also agree w the others... if you can, add a 4th night to the cruise.
Late July vs early August is kind of a wash to me. Heat and crowds will both be high.

I'm not sure what days would be best for the parks and cruise. But if your flying, flights will be way higher if your flying in or out on a weekend. Our flights were 300.00 more per person flying out on Saturday. If you fly during the middle of the week the price is way lower.
