well, actually heel help. Did a long walk yesterday, 16 miles, and towards the end the back edges of my heels began to hurt. We were considering going farther, but the last 1/2 mile they hurt enough that I decided to stop to check them. No redness or blisters, just hurts. Taking off my shoes and socks helped, but I can still feel them today and I am wearing sandels. Possibly was my shoes as I had never worn that particular pair for a long walk before, but they are broken in. Same socks I usually wear.
I have never felt this before and am trying to figure what to do before my next walk. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
