Every year for the past 15 years or so at one of our Christmas gatherings we draw "jobs" to do to help clean up. The kids always got stuck to the dish washing after dinner, before opening gifts, then there got to be a point where there wasn't any kids so we made up this game. Every year we have jobs to be drawn or creatively picked. Examples would be one person washing plates, another drying plates, another putting them away. Others are clearing the table, putting away leftovers, etc. The jobs depend on the number of people attending. We always have a Supervisor and most always a "Sit back and relax" one to draw. Most of the guys in the family love to grumble about doing the dishes, and but they jump write in, the really have no choice. ;) And it creates conversations at the sink with some relatives you don't talk to very often.

Sometimes we draw the jobs from a bowl, one time they were put under the plates. They been in gift boxes with candy, they've been in homemade little Christmas trees, etc.

I'm trying to think of a fun, inexpensive way of handing them out this year. Any ideas?
