Need some computer help

OKay I have an HP laptop, I go to burn a data cd and it says E drive is inaccesible or something along those lines but I can burn cds to my hearts content. Any idea on what is making my computer so loco?

is the E: drive the location of your actual CD burner?

what app are you using to burn your CD's?

I use to could drag the files to the cd and drop them. Like it pops up with a menu and one of them says write files to cd and it won't let me do it.
