I am planning our first trip the third week in April with DH, DS (14) DD (11). We only have 5 1/2 days. Considering the crowds would about 3 to 4 hours in each MGM and AK be enough to see popular attractions and rides? I would like to spend time in TL and DTD, so I am trying to plan wisely w/o being comando! I have learned a lot from these boards and I would appreciate any suggestions!!!!

Welcome to the DIS and your first post. I think the crowds are going to be moderately heavy at that time. I know we're planning on going then too.
Anyhow, I think if you FP 2 major attractions in your timeframe (if the return times fit the bill), then you'll be able to get 2 major things and probably 2-3 small things done in that timeframe. It will require some careful planning though. With the crowds being heavier, it's going to be more difficult to turn MGM or AK into a 1/2 day park. I would think about using evening EMH to your advantage if staying onsite. You could spend 3/4 of a day at the water park. Relax for alittle while then go to the park about 2 hours before evening EMH and get 5 hours out of the park. Just be sure to hit the non-emh attractions first.

Thanks so much for advice, I think I'm going to have to get to the parks early and hope for the best!!!!!!!
