We decided to go to the world the last week in August with another family. We are doing a land and sea! The family that we are going with have never been to Disney. :scared1: They have 3 boys, 13, 9, and 6. This will be our 3rd trip. They are kind of looking at me for the planning. Last night I made some ressies for Chef Mickey (a must), Coral Reef for dinner, 50's prime time (dinner), Tony's (lunch), and Tutto Italia (dinner).

Should I pull one of those off and make another character meal? I was trying to think of one that all the kids will enjoy. Should I pull Tony's and make one at AK? We are only there for 5 nights. Need help! :confused3

I take it you are planning on dining together every meal. We will be traveling with my brother, SIL, niece, DM and DDad. What we are doing is planning the best parks for each day, then each family is picking places they would like to eat. (Ordering them 1, 2, 3) Then, we are doing dining around that (trying to make sure each family gets to choose at least once).

I would let them choose. They may have no interest in a character meal, or they might leave it up to you. If you know the kids well, and think they would like the character meal, I would definitely plan at least one!

We did a ton of Character meals on our first visit with DD who was 9 at the time and never got tired of them.

Tusker House Breakfast- great way to start an AK morning
Crystal Palace Breakfast- NOISY, but DD loved the Pooh characters and we are going back this visit.
Cape May Cafe Breakfast- good buffet, we did it twice and repeating.
Chef Mickey Breakfast- crowded, but a classic
CRT Dinner- food was good (not great), was a must at the time for a Princess fan, but not for the boys.
1900 Park Fair- did B'fast and dinner- would not repeat either, but b'fast was better of the two. (we like b'fast buffets, but have not been thrilled with dinners and prefer TS.)

Our other musts for our return trip in 52 days :yay: are non-character- O'hana & Yachtsman.

Have a wonderful vacation!

Thanks for your help guys! I'm leaning toward Tusker House for breakfast. I think that might be a better fit. Although, we will be going on the Dream, which has character dining too. Ugh, the decisions!!!! :confused3
