Need some advice on which to choose

We will be at WDW the end of Nov. to the fifth of Dec. and have a split stay with the DDP on the last three days. We have the Minnie dine and Fantasmic package for one night so the dining plan is a good deal as it is only one credit. We had Via Napoli booked for one of the nights but it really isn't such a great deal for a TS credit as we could order a family size pizza for much less. I saw an Akershus reservation for the same night and booked it as well. Which do we choose? We have done Akershus before but never Via Napoli. I have tried finding a reservation for the other days, (lunch or dinner) we are there and nada. I am assuming part of this might be as a result of the Christmas processional. I tried finding a reservation for that and they are all gone as well. So, do we keep Via Napoli and swallow the cost somewhat, or keep our fingers crossed that something might show up on another day closer to our arrival and keep the Askerhus? So conflicted. My kids are all Disney adults now so the cost is considerable, especially in Canadian dollars.

Because I am more of a money-cruncher, I would keep the Akershus and keep trying for the VN for your OOP part of your vacation. There will be cancellations even as late as the day before, so you may be able to score an ADR even after you're there.

As much as I really like Via Napoli, I agree with sharonabe that Akershus a much better use of TS credit. I would go to Akershus while you have the DDP and then look for a Via Napoli reservation during the part of your trip without the DDP.

On the other hand, if you do go to VN while on the DDP, you'll get to try a bunch of different pizzas because you can't combine credits to get one family size (you also have use a credit per person - VN does not allow guests to use one DDP credit to feed multiple guests). So in this way, you'd get to try multiple types of pizzas plus some of the really good desserts.
