Need some advice...Fantasmic package...adrs...

So we are currently booked with the following:

Lunch: 50's Prime Time at 12:45pm
Dinner: Fantasmic Dinner Plan at Hollywood & Vine Buffet 4:55pm


My friend and her family are going to Disney with us. We are eating a couple sit down meals together, not too many considering we have DXDP. At first we weren't doing the Fantasmic package together but she suggested we join her family of 5, her in-laws and her brother-in-law and his wife at Hollywood Brown Derby for a late lunch at 2:15pm...making our party a grand total of 14 (including 6 kids)

We would lose Prime Time, which I really wanted to try. I really could care less about Hollywood & Vine, it was the only thing available when I booked our package.

So the dilemma...stick with what we have or cut the two and go with HBD? One other thing I forgot to mention. DH and I are planning on sharing all of our lunches; this would take up our one extra floating lunch credit we were reserving in case we couldn't decided on a shared lunch.

How nice of your friend to invite you to dine with them. Now for the logistics: does she want to add your family to her reservation? In other words, would she be changing the number of people on her ADR? Or does she want you to make your own ADR for HBD for the same time?

I would personally jump at the chance for the meal at Brown Derby,especially over H&V. 50sPTC is a really nice place, and we have fun there, but definitely not in the same league as HBD. So for me, it would be no sacrifice to scrub the 2 TS ADRs in favour of the single signature ADR. With that late lunch, you might only want a snack later in the evening.

Work out the logistics with your friend. See if she can change her existing ADR first (it may be easier that way). If not, see if you can get your own F. Package ADR at the same time. But do this BEFORE you cancel your existing reservation!

You may also want to check the menu to see if they have things your kids will like and you're willing to give up those 2TS credits for.

Since you both have a F! pkg for the same day already, if it doesn't work out to eat together, you can still enjoy F! together.
